Crossing Borders & Cracking Up Crowds

South Florida favorite Mark Orintas sits down with SitDownForStandUp to break down the nuances of comedy across the pond. From gigging internationally to mastering his signature "inappropriately awkward" storytelling, watch Mark talk about building a cult following in the US scene and what makes audiences tick on both sides of the Atlantic.

South Florida’s Comedy Calendar, Guest Mark Orintas

Comedy Calendar dives into the wild, weird, and wonderful world of South Florida comedy — and this episode brings the chaos straight from a hospital bed. Mark tells the full, painfully hilarious story of his “badass” hospital adventure: how he fell, why it wasn't graceful, and which parts are actually embarrassing (spoiler: all of them).

Plus: can't-miss lineups across Miami, Broward, and Palm Beach — our weekly guide to where the laughs are cooking, sizzling, and occasionally flatlining. Tune in for honest stories, brutal punchlines, and the inside scoop on the shows you’ll regret missing.
